Visual Arts and Performing Arts

The District Art Teacher provides our students with opportunities throughout the year to explore various forms of art by engaging them in a variety of lessons. 

Music is one of the only educational activities that activates, stimulates, and uses the entire brain. It supports almost everything we do in school to create a fully rounded child. The Tulare City Classroom Music Program currently includes second, third, and fourth-grade students who receive instruction in the elements of music, notation, music history, music technique, and choral performance. It shares with the children many songs and listening selections from various styles as well as cultures, assisting the children to find their own place in the musical experience.
